We have now received Petteri. He has been dancing and doing splits. The weather here is usually rainy or sunny (mostly rainy) but it’s snowing for a change. We would like to know if you are bored of the snow yet. We are definitely not! We are having a lot of fun with it. Last week the school was closed because of the snow.
Every week we have either assembly or hymn practice. That’s where you sing a lot. Have you seen Santa in Suomi (Finland)? We wish we could see Santa in England. Do you have a lot of teddies in Finland?

Kiitos Petterin lähettämisestä! Petteri on nyt saapunut perille. Hän on tanssinut ja tehnyt spagaatteja. Sää täällä on yleensä sateinen tai aurinkoinen (yleensä sateinen), mutta nyt sataa vaihteeksi lunta. Haluaisimme tietää oletteko te jo kyllästyneet lumeen. Me emme todellakaan ole! Meistä on hauskaa leikkiä lumessa. Viime viikolla koulu oli suljettu lumen vuoksi.
Meillä on joka viikko joko koulun yhteinen kokoontuminen tai lauluharjoitukset. Molemmissa lauletaan paljon! Oletteko nähneet joulupukkia Suomessa? Me toivoisimme näkevämme joulupukin Englannissa. Onko Suomessa paljon pehmoleluja?

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Petteri at your school! We have a lot of teddies in Finland. Petteri was just one of the candidates who wanted to see England.
Many of us have seen the real Santa at the North Pole. He lives in Korvatunturi which is a fell in Lapland.
We have a lot of snow here. We like to play in the snow. But sometimes we want the sprong to come soon because the winter is so long in Finland.
