We have had a great time with Robbie. We wish we could have him for longer! Robbie has had a great time with us and we will miss him. Happy Easter! We will be on holidays for the next 2 weeks.

Olemme viettäneet Petterin kanssa mahtavaa aikaa. Toivomme, että olisimme voineet pitää hänet vähän pidempään! Petteri on myös viettänyt kivaa aikaa ja meillä tulee häntä ikävä. Hyvää pääsiäistä! Me olemme pääsiäislomalla seuraavat 2 viikkoa.

Preparing for Easter Hat Parade - Pääsiäishattuparaatiin valmistautuminen

I was bending card to make the head  band.
I made the rabbit and egg of paper plates.
I made the grass of paper and crepe paper.
I made the hat for a school Easter Hat Parade that will be on Monday. I hope I will win!
I will miss Robbie!

Taivutin kartonkia tehdäkseni hatun.
Tein pupun ja pääsiäismunan paperilautasista.
Tein ruohon paperista ja kreppipaperista.
Tein hatun koulun Pääsiäishattuparaatiin, joka pidetään maanantaina. Toivon, että voitan!
Minulle tulee Petteriä ikävä!

Robbie and the Red Nose Day

On Friday 15 th of March we celebrated the Red Nose Day. It is organised by  a charity called Comic Relief. We were wearing red at school and some of us wore red noses!

On Wednesday we also had a Red Nose Day coffee morning and all the money went to Comic Relief. We raised about £250.

Perjantaina 15. maaliskuuta vietimme Nenäpäivää. Sen järjestää eräs hyväntekeväisyysjärjestö nimeltään Comic Relief. Me pukeuduimme koulussa uniformujen sijaan punaisiin vaatteisiin ja joillakin meistä oli punaiset nenät!

Keskiviikkona meillä oli Nenäpäivän vuoksi koululla aamukahvit vanhemmille. Kaikki kerätyt rahat menivät Comic Relief –järjestölle. Saimme kerättyä yhteensä 250 puntaa.

Robbie was happy that everyone else were wearing red noses on that day!

Robbie and the World Book Day

We celebrated a day called World Book Day on the 7^th March. We dress up as our favourite book characters and we bring the book in that we are from.

We enter competitions on World Book Day like a book mark competition. We liked to guess who was who and from which book! :-) We had for example Harry Potter and a monkey from Roald Dahl.

Here are some of the pupils from our school with their costumes:

Maaliskuun 7. päivä vietimme koulussa Maailman kirjan päivää. Pukeuduimme suosikkikirjojemme hamoiksi, ja toimme valitsemamme kirjan mukanamme kouluun. 

Koulussa järjestetään kilpailuja, kuten kirjamerkkikilpailu, Maailman kirjan päivänä. Meistä oli hauskaa arvuutella kuka kukin hahmo on ja mistä kirjasta! :-) Meillä oli koulussa esimerkiksi Harry Potter sekä apina Roald Dahlin kirjasta.

Robbie with Lulu and Denby the dog

I took Robbie to my house where he met my dog Denby.

Vein Robbien kotiini, jossa hän tapasi koirani Denbyn.

Denby was excited because he has never met a reindeer teddy before! 
Denby oli innoissaan, koska hän ei ole koskaan ennen tavannut pehmoleluporoa!

At the moment I am practicing tap dancing because I have a show at the Queen's theater and all my family and friends are going to watch it. Robbie came with me to the class.

Tällä hetkellä harjoittelen steppiä, koska minulla on kohta teatterilla esitys, jota myös koko perheeni ja kaverini tulevat katsomaan. Robbie tuli minun kanssa steppitunnille.

Robbie had his tea and then we watched TV until daddy said "Robbie and Lulu, go to bed!".

Robbie söi illallisen ja katsoimme telkkaria siihen asti kunnes isä sanoi "Robbie ja Lulu, nyt nukkumaan!".

Robbie at the Cookery Club

Yesterday we made pizza with Robbie and he got very messy with the flour and tomato purée. He made a pizza with cheese, peperone, peppers, mushrooms and ham. 

Eilen leivoimme pitsaa Robbien kanssa ja hän oli meko sotkuinen jauhojen ja tomaattisoseen kanssa. Hän teki pitsan, jossa oli täytteenä juustoa, salamia, paprikaa, herkkusieniä ja kinkkua.

Robbie started by mixing the ingredients to make the dough with Luana.
Robbie aloitti sekoittamalla taikinaan kuuluvat ainekset Luanan kanssa.

Robbie was so excited that he accidently dipped his nose in the flour bag!
Robbie oli niin innoissaan, että vahingossa pisti nenänsä jauhopussiin!



This is our pizzas before they go into the oven. Robbie liked basil so much that he nearly ate the whole plant!
Tässä ovat pitsamme ennen uuniin menoa. Robbie tykkäsi basilikasta niin paljon, että söi melkein koko kasvin.

Karate Club - Karatekerho

In our school we do after school clubs. One of them is karate.We learn Japanese in karate and we know that teacher is called "sensay"  in Japanese. The colour of the belt represents what grade you are at. You can see that we all have different colours in our belts. It is very hard effort to do karate but we can just manage it luckily! Robbie has been with us to karate but this time he was still at Kiah's home.

Meillä on koulussa iltapäiväkerhoja. Yksi niistä on karate. Opimme karatetunneilla japanin kieltä ja tiedämme, että opettaja on japaniksi "sensay". Vöiden väri karatessa kertoo, millä tasolla olet. Voit nähdä kuvasta, että meillä on erivärisiä vöitä. Karate on vaativa laji, mutta onneksi me pärjäämme hyvin! Robbie on ollut meidän mukana karatessa, mutta tällä kertaa hän oli Kiahin kotona kun meillä oli karatetunti.
